Your Spiritual Anatomy   May 2, 2018

 Your body has a physical anatomy made up of the different anatomical systems, skeletal; circulatory; nervous; endocrine, etc. Your body also has a spiritual anatomy made up of the aura, the meridian lines, and the chakra system. This is known as the subtle body. Illnesses and imbalances in the physical body originate from problems in the subtle body. The subtle body is the layered energetic system in our auras, a series of seven interconnected layers.

The first subtle body layer is the Etheric Body. Closest to the physical, it is considered to be the blueprint on which the cells and organs are built. It contains an exact replica of your body with the same organs and structures. Imbalances and weaknesses in the etheric body eventually manifest on the physical level.

The next layer is the Emotional Body. The emotional body is the container of your feelings. It follows your body outline, but extends further than the etheric. It is composed of colored clouds of energy in a continuous flux, altering according to your mood and emotional state. This field is often the aura of colors around you. The emotional body holds your emotional and psychological stability and your sensitivity to those around you.

The Mental Body layer overlaps the emotional body. Associated with thoughts and mental processes, the Mental Body is usually perceived as bright yellow. In this body, you interpret information according to belief structures you have acquired in this lifetime.

The Astral Body layer comes next. This energy contains the essence of your personality. It is the boundary layer between your current individual personality and spiritual awareness.

The three remaining subtle body layers are not as clearly defined and are composed of fine energy.

The Causal Body layer links your personality to collective consciousness, and is the doorway to higher levels of consciousness.

The Celestial Body layer or The Soul, focuses universal energy and is connected to the Higher Self.

The Spiritual Body layer is the container and integrator of all other subtle energies. It has access to universal energies and maintains the individuality of each being.

When clearing and cleansing your energy or aura, address the subtle body by asking to be clear on all layers and levels of your being.

Letting Go  April 26, 2018

Sometimes all it takes to get what you want is to let go, to detach yourself from the situation and trust everything will work out for the best.

I have a stone that I was given at a vortex site. As I walked by it, I got a message that this was a special gift for me. One day it disappeared. I searched everywhere to no avail. Even though I tried not to feel bad, my mind and my emotions kept bringing me back to my sense of loss. When I meditated about my reaction, I got a strong message to release it and let it go. The following day, I got an intuitive sense to ask the woman who monitors the locker room at the gym if she happened to find a stone recently. She reached into a drawer, removed my stone and handed it to me. Small miracles happen every day when you let go of your attachment to the outcome.

Let go of the very thing you are attached to and whatever is for the greater good will come to you. Life is about trusting all is well no matter what is happening and letting go of attachment to outcomes.

Working With Spiritual Gemstones   April 18, 2018

In my practice as a spiritual healer in Sedona, I often work with gemstones and minerals and sell gemstone chakra balancers. Here is spiritual information about stones.

Stones vibrate with earth energy. Some vibrate on a cosmic level. All rocks and minerals serve a basic purpose or function, to carry messages, to heal, to open energies.

To determine the nature of a rock, hold it in your hands to feel the vibration. The vibration can be subtle or strong. Each rock has a place and a purpose. Almost all of us have been attracted to a rock or stone at one time or another. Stones call to people. Each stone or rock has unique spiritual energy that will match with your needs and fit with your energy.

A rock that is meant to be with you and serve a purpose in your life, will call to you. Gemstones, rocks and minerals are available in most metaphysical stores and fairs. You can also pick up rocks from trails or beaches, or even parking lots. If you are attracted to a stone, it is probably meant to be with you. Before removing any stone from its surroundings make sure you have permission.  Sometimes a stone is not meant to be taken away. People have taken stones from a volcanic area in Hawaii and sent them back later because the energy wasn’t right.  So keep in mind, some stones are only there for you to connect with in the moment. If you feel drawn to a stone or rock and want to take it w, ask if it is meant to go with you. If you hear “yes” Give something back in exchange for the gift you are being given. A good offering is food for the animals or water for the plants. If you don’t have any food or water, any offering is acceptable if given with good intentions. The right rock companions can bring wondrous energy to your environment.

How To Balance Your Chakras   April 11, 2018

Set aside time for chakra balancing each morning and each evening for the next seven days (or more) and see how your energy shifts. You will probably feel more at ease and relaxed besides feeling healthier overall. Before you get out of bed in the morning and before you go to sleep, balance your chakras while you are lying down. Start by placing both of your hands between your legs and ask to balance the energy of your root chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your root chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize red light flowing to and through you while the first chakra is being balanced. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands on your lower abdomen, ask to balance the energy of your abdominal chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your abdominal chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize orange light flowing to and through you while the second chakra is being balanced. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands on your solar plexus, ask to balance the energy of your navel chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your navel chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize the yellow light flowing to and through you while the third chakra is being balanced. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands over your heart, ask to balance the energy of your navel chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your heart chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize green light flowing to and through you while the fourth chakra is being balanced. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands over your throat, ask to balance the energy of your throat chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your throat chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize blue light flowing to and through you while your fifth chakra is balancing. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands over your third eye, ask to balance the energy of your third eye chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your third eye chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize purple light flowing to and through you while your sixth chakra is balancing. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Placing both of your hands on the top of your head, ask to balance the energy of your crown chakra. Ask that the light and Love and healing energy of the Loving Universe flow to your crown chakra, releasing all blockages and bringing it into balance. Visualize white light flowing to and through you while your seventh chakra is balancing. Wait until you feel balanced to move on.

Relax for awhile and allow the energetic flow to adjust.

Express your gratitude to The Loving Universe for balancing your energetic flow and ask to remain in balance.

Once you have practiced, chakra balancing will become second nature. Then you can balance all your chakras as necessary and focus on individual chakras that correspond to your symptoms.

How To Avoid An Argument Before It Starts     April 5, 2018

As a spiritual healer in Sedona, I see many people who are concerned about their relationships and are upset when they have been in arguments. Spiritual healing involves going deep within and can bring forth unpleasant feelings and memories connected to past responses to arguments. To avoid an argument before it starts, don’t participate. This may sound obvious, but it isn’t. Otherwise we would never argue. Most arguments involve personality conflicts. Both personalities involved in the argument feel they have something to gain or lose in the outcome; someone must win and someone must lose. In reality, all arguments are losing situations.

Arguments create a loss of peacefulness and harmony. When people argue, an exchange of negative energy occurs. For some people, arguing is the primary method they connect with others. Sometimes, a person becomes an argument magnet, seeking out and attracting conflict because arguing gives them an artificial sense of power. Argumentative people may appear confident, but in reality they are feeling powerless. They do not recognize that power is internal, not external. Rather than working within themselves to understand their emotions, argumentative people seek gratification from proving they are right .A balanced person can choose not to participate in an argument. Emotionally balanced people have no purpose in arguing since balanced people are connected with their own personal power of love. Being at peace with oneself in a loving space eliminates the need for personality conflicts. Personality conflicts come from a need for control, which originates from non-loving emotions.

Every parent remembers the developmental stage labeled the terrible twos. This is the age when children throw tantrums and their favorite word is NO. During this developmental stage, children assert their power in an environment where they feel powerless. Adults control the lives of two-year-olds. Yet, an argumentative two-year-old can bring the lives of the adults around him or her to a temporary standstill. The next time someone attempts to argue with you, consider that this person is like an unreasonable two-year-old trying to assert power. Argumentative people usually feel a need for control. You have no control over the emotions of other people, who choose to argue with you. You can control your responses in confrontational situations.

Whenever you are tempted to argue with another person, stop and reflect inward. Ask yourself why this issue is so important to you. Where is your anger coming from? Why are your emotions surfacing? The other person has triggered a response in you. You can choose how you will react to this response. Most people who argue are focusing on the other person, rather than themselves. Potential arguments offer you a golden opportunity to learn about yourself.

When another person triggers an emotional response in you, this reaction comes from memories of past experiences that are surfacing in the present. These memories of past events and experiences dredge up unresolved emotional issues. Dredging up of old emotions is an automatic response. Automatic responses that originate in the past do not belong in the present. Acknowledge that other people trigger your emotional responses, but admit to yourself that these responses belong to you. Ask the Loving Universe to help you move with your emotion into a loving space in the present moment. By choosing not to be emotionally dragged into the past, you are choosing to be loving in the present. Feel love for the adult, who acts like a two-year-old in order to gain a false sense of power. Remind yourself that the most powerful force in the world is love. All it takes to avoid an argument before it starts, is love and self-understanding.

Coping With Life Changes   March 28, 2018

Life is all about change, yet we tend to resist change. It is so much easier to stick with the familiar. Shift continues to happen whether you like it or not. The longer you live, the more changes you will see because life is ever shifting.

Physically your body changes. You grow from an infant to a child to an adult, eventually to an elder. With each new stage in your life, your body shifts. Sometimes things go smoothly. Sometimes they don’t. In our culture, growing old is not looked on as a good thing. We admire youth. Yet, all bodies go through changes with age and eventually we will all die. Our bodies are only meant to last until they are no longer of use to us here in the physical world. You can strive for a youthful appearance, but nature will take its course.

Emotionally your responses also tend to alter with age and experience. What used to bother you when you were young might not be so important when you’re older. The older some people get, the more flexible they become. For some people, the opposite is true. They become set in their ways with old age and wish for a return to the good old days. The good old days may seem desirable, but they’re over. Today is all you have, so live it to the fullest. You’re only as old as you feel and act.

The happiest people are those who surround themselves with love and have passion for life. Rather than looking back, enjoy what’s happening now. Choose to create changes in your life. And when change comes, t adapt or create even more change in response.  Recognize the role you play in creating your life situations and you will be happier.

Healing Is A Process  March 22, 2018

Some people get over the flu in 24 hours. Others have symptoms that linger for weeks. Some people grieve over their losses all their lives. Others move on. Healing is a process and for every person this process is different. Healing is not about time or effort. It is about bringing things into balance. If your thoughts, emotions, and beliefs are mostly in balance, you will heal with ease. If you think and feel and believe you are sick and do not deserve to heal, you will create this in your life. Thoughts are very powerful creations and you create your thoughts. This does not mean you should blindly think positive thoughts and all will be well. That practice is avoidance. Recognize the circumstances you are in without judging. Ask to peacefully release any thoughts that are contributing to your situation and are not for your greater good. Then allow for the process. Recognize healing is a process and bring your mind, body and spirit into balance.
