Spiritual Love
What is spiritual love? Love isn’t just a romantic notion and it doesn’t mean there’s a happy ending because spiritual love has no beginning, middle or end. Not just about intimate or familial relationship, spiritual love is a way of life.
Spiritual love as a way of life may seem complicated, or even confusing, but it doesn’t need to be. Spiritually, there are three facets of love. These are: love of self, love of others and love of the Universe. Just like mind, body and spirit, they are an interconnected spiritual trinity. Love of self is about truly accepting yourself and loving who you are. When good things happen, congratulate yourself and enjoy them. When you feel regret or sorrow or pain, be loving to yourself and learn lessons from these experiences. Love of others means accepting other people as they are for who they are, releasing personal judgment and replacing it with love. You may not like the choices other people have made, but you can still love them. Love of Universe moves beyond earthly limitations of time, space and the mind. It is universal in nature and all encompassing. For some this means God, but it doesn’t matter what you call it. It is creation energy in the purest form.
Create a life for yourself that reflects spiritual love through being a living example every day of the interconnected spiritual trinity of love.
