Spiritual Growth and Disruption
Disruption brings spiritual growth. We tend to dislike disruption in our lives. Everything seems to be going smoothly and all of a sudden, things change. With the corona virus came worldwide disruption. The virus does not recognize political boundaries. People all over the world have the potential to get sick and die. This virus snuck in without warning. In The United States of America the population changed their ways. For the moment we can no longer live a carefree life. People are avoiding exposure by staying home. This may sound restrictive and confining, but it need not be.
This disruption of great magnitude provides us with unexpected opportunities. We can now work on unfinished business both personal and spiritual. It’s time to pause from the daily distractions to consider what is really important to us. Protecting your health and the health of your family is now your primary consideration. You have also been given an unanticipated opportunity to spend more time on spiritual growth. Pray, meditate, do yoga in your living room, connect with the Divine in your own way. Use this down time to focus on your spiritual growth.
